Successful Wayne State women’s basketball coach Chris Kielsmeier is moving up to an NCAA Division One job.

He is leaving the Wildcat program to become the head coach at Cleveland State.

Kielsmeier guided Wayne State to a ten season record of 237-72. His teams went 166-50 in the Northern Sun Conference.

This past season, the Wildcats were 25-7 overall with an 18-4 league mark. Kielsmeier teams won twenty or more games in seven of his ten seasons.
