South Dakota’s new Secretary of State took her oath of office early to get a jump start on the legislative session. Shantel Krebs says they are ready for the session to begin this week after a few changes to her legislative package.
Krebs says they are also proposing random sampling on candidate petitions.
She says the next 18 months will be devoted towards business development within the state.
The legislative session begins tomorrow (Tuesday).
