South Dakota Rated Poor As A Road Trip

When it comes to the best place to take a road trip, a recent study by WalletHub has found that South Dakota may not be the place to do it.  Spokeswoman, Jill Gonzalez says South Dakota was 46th based on thing like attractions, road conditions, and cost of traveling.  She says that based on gas prices and camping, travelers are spending a fortune, but the state falls short in hotel affordability…

 

South Dakota ranked 36th overall in terms of the quality of the state’s roads…

 

In terms of nightlife options, scenic byways, and tourist attractions, Gonzalez says South Dakota falls short…

 

Gonzalez says Iowa made the list at 32nd, Nebraska at 15th, and because of its superior road conditions, Minnesota ranked 3rd on the list of best states for a summer road trip.

Oregon topped the list.  Connecticut was last.
