Longtime democratic Representative Susan Wismer of Britton will be moving to the South Dakota Senate in January. She won a three-way primary in District One, and does not face a republican opponent in November.
She says keeping nursing homes open and viable is a big issue…..

Wismer says is concerned with the quality of education offered in the state…..

She follows Senator Jason Frerichs of Wilmot, who was term limited, and decided not to run for any other legislative seat.
