A November ballot issue is already drawing organized opposition.
The South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry says they will fight Amendment “W” this fall.
President Dave Owen says the proposed amendment is very broad…..

Owen says it is another example of an out of state group using South Dakota as a testing ground……

Owen says the amendment would create an all-powerful oversight board….

Owen says the group backing the amendment, “Represent South Dakota” reported raising over two hundred thirty thousand dollars, with none of the money coming from in state sources.
