South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds questioned acting EPA Head Andrew Wheeler about the renewable fuel standard, and ethanol waivers for small refineries. Rounds says changing rules on RFS hurts ethanol producers….

Rounds, at a hearing in front of the Environment and Public Works Committee, asked Wheeler if the EPA could move more quickly on setting the rules……

Rounds told Wheeler the EPA has to give more consideration to producers……

Wheeler said he would respond to a letter outlining the concerns Rounds laid out.
