Seven renewable fuel and farm groups have written to President Trump asking him to follow through on his promise of granting full year sales of E15. American Coalition for Ethanol CEO Brian Jennings is hoping that having all seven groups make the request will spur the President to move ahead with year round use of the fuel.

Renewable Fuels Association Executive Vice President Geoff Cooper says they also want the President to direct the EPA to require large refiners to blend the ethanol lost from those refiners granted waivers from the RFS.

Jennings says there will be multiple benefits for farmers, ethanol producers, and consumers if year round E15 sales are approved.

Jennings says the other benefit of E15 is it’s good for the environment.
Joining ACE and the RFA in the letter are the National Farmers Union, American Farm Bureau, National Corn Growers, Growth Energy and the National Sorghum Producers Association.
