After 50 days, the search for Yankton’s next ‘big idea’ has hit the halfway point. The 100-day community initiative is asking people to submit ideas to improve the city of Yankton to their website. Heidi Marsh is on the Onward Yankton committee that will be reviewing all of the ideas. She says they’ve had overwhelming response.

The committee has created a poll on their website to help decide which issues are the most important to the community.

Once the 100-day period is over, finalists will be chosen to further present their big ideas to the committee. The person with the winning idea will be presented with $10,000.
