While it appears there will not be Senate or Congressional debates at Dakotafest this year, there may be debates later on.
South Dakota Senator John Thune says nothing has been set yet……

There will be a Congressional forum at Dakotafest with Thune, Senator Mike Rounds and Congresswoman Kristi Noem.

Thune says he anticipates participating in debates later this year…..

Thune, who has about twelve million dollars in his campaign fund, says he will run hard this year…..

Thune will face democrat Jay Williams in the November election.
