Nebraska Ethanol Board leaders are working with various city officials in the region to find ways to make EPA’s proposed Ozone regulations more workable. Nebraska Ethanol Board Administrator Todd Sneller says there’s a great opportunity for ag and biofuels to contribute to lessening the Ozone problem in regional areas.

Sneller says this is a problem his group has been working on for some time and have come up with some renewable fuel proactive steps.

Sneller says his group is pointing out to regulators that by taking small steps there can be a significant impact on pollution and Ozone problems. He says by using biodiesel and higher blends of ethanol, there will be a cleaner environment all the way around.
