Minnesota Approves Funding For Water System

During the special session of the Minnesota legislature, lawmakers approved nineteen million dollars for continued construction of the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System.

Larson says they will now be able to plan construction out the rest of this year into next. The project will deliver water to towns and cities in South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota from wells near the Missouri River south of Vermillion.
