Ballot issues dealing with marijuana could have some unintended consequences.

Dave Owen, President of the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry, says a number of their members could have problems with legalized marijuana……

The Secretary of State’s office is counting petition signatures on an initiative that would legalize marijuana for medical uses.

Owen says there have been court cases connected to medical marijuana……

Owen says two other marijuana ballot issues that were circulating, did not turn in petitions. He says they have not decided if they will be involved next year…..

Owen is on his pre-legislative tour of local chambers across the state.
