A Southeast Iowa landowner claims an oil company representative offered him the services of a prostitute in exchange for allowing access on his property to the Dakota Access pipeline. Hughie Tweedy farms near Montrose, Iowa.

Tweedy says he’s totally opposed to the Dakota Access pipeline project and will not sell or allow access to his farm.  He is opposed to the use of eminent domain in all forms.

Tweedy says he has 100 acres of woodlands on his property, 40 acres of row crops and 20 acres of pastureland. A Dakota Access representative says the company is looking into the allegations.
