Fuels America Coalition Releases More Ads on RFS

Fuels America Coalition Releases More Ads on RFS

Monday, the Fuels America Coalition took out the third advertisement in the last two weeks to pressure the President and EPA to raise the volume levels under the RFS. It’s based on his climate change goals. Nebraska Ethanol Board Administrator Todd Sneller says those goals can’t be met without a robust RFS.

He says for the biofuels industry to move forward, it needs predictability for investors.

Sneller says if the biofuels industry grows, it will have a positive impact on climate change. He says that can only occur if everyone works together for a solid RFS to help accomplish that.

The Fuels America ads come out as the President’s EPA is proposing to cut renewable fuel volumes and fundamentally alter the RFS leaving the oil industry in control of the nation’s renewable fuel supply.
