The Environmental Protection Agency has sent its proposal for renewable fuel volume obligations for 2014, 2015 and 2016 to the White House Office of Management and Budget. Renewable Fuel Association Senior Vice President Geoff Cooper says they’re pleased the agency is moving ahead with getting those out but still has concerns with what exactly is contained in the proposal.
Cooper says his group thinks EPA needs to follow the intent of the Renewable Fuel Standard with their volume obligations.
Once the Offfice of Management and Budget reviews the proposal it will be released for public comment.
