EPA Being Investigated for Funding Anti-Ag Billboards

Senators Pat Roberts and Jim Inhofe are requesting an investigation and an audit of the EPA regarding a federal grant that funded bill boards used to attack agriculture. The groups behind the billboards in Washington State have now taken them down. South Dakota Farm Bureau President Scott VanderWal is concerned the grant led to a misuse of tax money that misled the public and attacked agriculture.

He says even though the groups have now taken down the billboards the damage has already been done.

VanderWal is concerned about the implications of the EPA using federal funds to push back against any group and especially agriculture.

He says his group supports the Senators push to find the answers regarding the billboard incident and the calling for an audit.
