Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump promised a crowd in Sioux City last night (Tuesday) that he is not “skipping Iowa” because polls indicate he’s now in second place.

About 22-hundred people gathered in the Sioux City West High School gymnasium to see Trump. He spoke for about 50 minutes and then took questions from the crowd.
Trump says the “political pros” are telling him he should quit campaigning for support in Iowa’s Caucuses and focus on New Hampshire, where he’s still leading the field of G-O-P candidates…

Hundreds of people protested outside Donald Trump’s appearance at Sioux City West High School last night.
Organizer Ismael Valadez says they were there because of what he called Trumps harsh comments on immigration and Mexicans……….

Valadez says they were not trying to keep Trump from speaking, but felt his comments violated school policy on bullying………..

Sioux City school officials said the event was not sponsored by the district, and that other candidates have used school facilities for campaign events.
