Felony charges have been filed against Joop Bolen of Aberdeen in connection with the EB-5 visa program.
South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley announced the charges yesterday.
Bolen ran SDRC Incorporated, a regional center that handled the states EB-5 program that offered resident visa’s in exchange for foreign investment dollars.
The program began under former Governor, now Senator Mike Rounds…….

Bollen turned himself in to authorities and is scheduled to make his first court appearance Friday.
