Von VanGenderen is our newest on air personality at WNAX, although he is not new to our travelers. Von has hosted trips for WNAX for quite some time. He is well known for his fun personality, and his tall tales, some of which are known to be true. He is also well known for his gold leather pants and horned top hat which he wears when hosting Vikings trips.
He is the voice of the Corsica Stickney high school Jaguars, and is commonly heard announcing the starting lineups at tournaments in the Worlds Only Corn Palace in Mitchell SD. He also calls high school track meets and emcee’s a wide variety of events.
Von comes to us from rural Plankinton/Stickney SD were he farmed and operated a trucking company.
