Yeaton To Lead Rail Board

The South Dakota State Rail Board re-organized at their meeting last week, re-electing Todd Yeaton of Kimball as Chairman.

He had held the position in the past, but was replaced by Chet Groseclose last year. He was not re-appointed by the Governor to continue on the board.

Yeaton says he is ready to step back into the top spot…

 

Yeaton says the board will continue to push for rail service on short lines across the state…

 

The board voted to have an audit done on all the short lines that have received state loans and grants. Yeaton says they just want to make sure the money is going where it is supposed to go…
