Year End Review & Pay Raise for Yankton City Manager

The Yankton City Commission held their last meeting of the year yesterday, and in a brief agenda they approved year end raises for the city attorney, finance officer and city manager.
With a raise of just over four percent, City Manager Amy Nelson will now be paid just over one hundred two thousand dollars per year.
Nelson says she appreciates the confidence from the commission in her job……………

Nelson says she tries to balances a number of different interests in setting direction for city government…..

Some city managers have stayed three years, some five years. Nelson says she doesn’t have time line yet…..

Nelson is wrapping up her third year as city manager.
