The Yankton School Board will open up their facilities study to the public next month.
TSP of Sioux Falls has been conducting surveys and looking at all the buildings in the district, and updated the board last night.
They have come up with five alternatives that range from doing nothing other than routine maintenance to new building construction and shuffling students to different buildings.
Superintendent Dr. Wayne Kindle says the board will hear the entire report next month…..
Kindle says they will also hold a public forum to get input on the process….
There have been no cost estimates on any of the options. Kindle says that is intentional….
The school board meeting will be May 16th, with the public forum set for May 24th.
