Yankton School District to Release Fall Plans by the end of July

The Yankton School District has three work groups planning for the restart of classes on August 24th. Students went home on March 13th because of the pandemic and finished lessons online and with take home packets.

Superintendent Wayne Kindle says they will bring the workgroups together a couple of times this summer….

Kindle says health officials are helping with their planning…

Kindle says the state Department of Education is also helping school districts…

The district has also released rules for summer activities and the start of fall sports.
