Yankton School District Still Recovering from Network Data Breach

As preparations are underway for the new year, the Yankton School District is still recovering from a major data breach in their computer network in May.

Superintendent Wayne Kindle says they have been working with an outside company to see what they can get back..

Kindle says they did have some information backed up that they can work with….

Kindle says they are expanding the ways their information is distributed and stored….

Kindle says law enforcement has been involved in the breach, but doesn’t think they will be able to find anyone responsible.
