The Yankton School District will be debt free by 2020.
Superintendent Wayne Kindle made that announcement at the recent “State of the Community” meeting.

He says that puts the district in a good position for future growth…

The district is in the early stages of developing their next five-year plan, which should be ready in time for the next school year.
