In the midst of the changes brought on by the pandemic, the Yankton School District got some good news.
Superintendent Wayne Kindle says enrollment is up this year…
Enrollment last year was twenty-seven hundred sixty two, so this year saw an increase of forty eight students.
Kindle says the increase in student numbers along with the property tax opt out will relieve some financial pressure…
School district voters approved an opt out of up to one point eight million dollars per year in a February election.
