The Yankton School Board continues to work through the details of a short and long term strategic plan, and is also planning to hire a consultant to look at all the structures in the district.
Superintendent Dr. Wayne Kindle says it is possible both actions will lead to a need for more spending in the future………

Kindle says while they have maintained all of their buildings, it doesn’t mean there will not be a need for new construction in the future……….
The district held a public meeting to review their strategic plan, and will hire the facilities consultant at their next meeting.
