The Yankton School Board selected an architectural company at their meeting Monday night to start the facilities conditions assessment of the elementary schools.

Business Manager Jason Bietz said the selection committee had narrowed down the potential list to three firms….

Bietz says the committee voted on the three following their presentations last week…

Bietz says they also took the votes from the school board into consideration in making the recommendation…

The board approved the selection on a five to zero vote. The plan is to have the assessment wrapped up and back to the board by sometime this fall.
