The Yankton School Board held a public hearing on the proposed budget for the next school year.
Business Manager Jason Bietz says they are still dealing with federal pandemic dollars added to the budget….
They have about three and a half million dollars in the ESSER 3 fund.
Bietz says they will wait to pass a final budget until September…..
Bietz says they have other projects underway and soon to start….
The school board will soon have to decide on a location for the new early education center.
