Another public meeting to hear about the Yankton School Districts plans to ask for a property tax opt out will be held Wednesday evening.
Superintendent Wayne Kindle says the district has worked to gain the public trust..
Kindle says the opt out process will be a learning opportunity for everyone…
The proposal is to ask for up to one point eight five million dollars for up to four years. An election could be held in February.
The public meeting will be held at 6PM Wednesday at the Yankton High School theater.
