Yankton School Board Gets Facility Study Update

The Yankton School Board got an update at their meeting last night on the facilities improvement study that is underway.
TSP of Sioux Falls has been looking at all the buildings and other facilities in the district, and will have a plan to address issues they find.
Rob Collins of TSP says they found four major areas of concern……..

Collins says another of the major areas of concern is security…..

The other two major issues identified include storage and technology.
Collins says they will have a number of recommendation in their final report, including possibly moving students to grade centers…

Collins says they plan to have the final report with recommendations to the board for the April 18th meeting.
