The Yankton School Board held a special meeting Thursday and passed a resolution declaring district employees as critical infrastructure workers.

Superintendent Wayne Kindle says that designation gives them more flexibility during the pandemic..

Kindle says he hopes they don’t have to rely on the policy change….

Member Terry Crandall questioned the need for the policy change and voted against it. The measure passed on a four to one vote.
