Yankton School Board Continues Isolation Rules

The Yankton School Board this week voted to continue with their quarantine policies.
State and federal guidelines call for any close contact to an active COVID-19 case be quarantined for ten days. The state Education Department changed rules this week to allow school districts to modify those rules.
Yankton Superintendent Wayne Kindle says they have been able to keep kids in school under the current rules..

Kindle says they want to keep tight screening rules.

Kindle says there are delays in getting contact screening calls back from the Department of Health..

Kindle says the school board will monitor conditions and could make changes at any upcoming board meeting.
