The Yankton School Board approved a three-year contract with teachers at their meeting Monday night.

Kindle says they need to keep salaries competitive….

The legislature gave schools a two and a half percent increase in state aid for next year. Kindle says that was part of their calculations..

The contract also covers insurance and other benefits.
