Yankton School Board Approves Rapid Covid-19 Testing

The Yankton School Board approved the use of the Abbott BinaxNow Covid-19 Point of Care tests suppled by the state Department of Health.

Superintendent Wayne Kindle says the tests would be available to students that become ill in school..

Kindle says the tests will help parents decide how their kids should be treated…

Kindle says they want to find ways to keep the schools open and students in class….

The school board also approved extending the face mask mandate into January.
