The Yankton School Board officially adopted their budget for the current school year at their meeting last night.

The general fund plans to spend just under fifteen million dollars.
Bietz says while state aid was cut in 2011, the funding balance from the state has also changed………
The district added soccer as a sanctioned sport this fall, and also rehired librarians for all four elementary schools.
