Yankton Police Chief Brian Paulsen returned to duty Thursday after “a week away.”

City Manager Amy Nelson, Paulsen’s supervisor, would still not offer more specific information…..

Nelson did say the Police Chief’s job is more visible than most other city positions…..

Nelson says anyone who is not capable of doing the job they were hired for would not be in that job.
