Local governments across South Dakota are scrambling to get at least some guidelines in place before the legalization of medical marijuana on July first.

Yankton City Manager Amy Leon says the city commission will see a refined version of their proposed ordinance at their Monday meeting…

Leon says they are close to a final ordinance…

Leon says they don’t have much time to get it done..

The ordinance would allow two licensed medical marijuana dispensaries to start and would limit the locations through zoning.
