Yankton Man Facing  Vehicular Homicide Charges

A Yankton man is facing motor vehicle homicide charges connected to the death of a Yankton woman in northeast Nebraska last June.
26 year old Derrik Nelson is accused of driving an all terrain vehicle that crashed, killing 21 year old Jessi Anderson. The accident happened on June 29th west of St Helena.
Nelson could also be facing other felony charges. In addition, his father, 64 year old John Nelson of Yankton faces misdemeanor charges of being an accessory to a felony.
The charges were returned by a Cedar County Grand Jury.
Future court dates have not yet been set.
