Yankton was the day one leader at the South Dakota Class AA girls golf tournament Monday in Mitchell.

Yankton carded a score of 330, ten shots better than Brookings.

The girls Class A tourney in Hot Springs saw Parkston race to a 21 stroke lead after a 327 to Canton’s 348 and Vermilliion’s 354.

Class B tourneys for boys and girls were contested in Rapid City. Burke-South Central leads the girls while Aberdeen Christian is the first day leader for the boys.
