Yankton firefighters were called to a duplex fire on Kennedy Drive Friday evening, that they were able to knock down quickly.

Nickles says they were able to find the source of the fire…..

Nickles says they had some challenges in getting to the structure….

Nickles says each unit had one person inside at the time, and all got out safely. The Red Cross is helping those people find a place to stay.
