Yankton Death Investigation Continuing

The Yankton Police Department is continuing the investigation of a death that occurred Saturday night in the 700 block of West 11th Street.
Police Chief Jason Foote says they responded to an ambulance call for an unresponsive male and the male was pronounced dead at Avera Sacred Heart hospital.
Foote says there was no shooting, and it is not a murder investigation.
Foote says an autopsy and toxicology tests are being done and he hopes to have results in the next couple of weeks.
Foote says there is no danger to the public.
