Yankton Police responded to a home in the 1300 block of Whiting Driver Sunday evening. Authorities were advised of a deceased individual and confirmed a dead female at the scene. Yankton Police with the cooperation of the Yankton County Sheriffs Office and the state Division of Criminal Investigation started a homicide investigation and issues an arrest warrant for Trevor Wayne Hoffman on first and second degree murder charges.
Harrison was found on Monday in Dixon County Nebraska and arrested.
Charges are pending with the Yankton County States Attorney.
Yankton Police Chief Jason Foote, in a news release, said the investigation is active and ongoing but there is no danger to the public.
