The Yankton County Sheriffs Office is investigating a suspicious death. Sheriff Jim Vlahakis says the body of 61 year old Deborah Lynne Schock was found in a mobile home on Vote Street last Saturday. Family members had found her and notified law enforcement. Preliminary investigation indicated the victim had been dead for several days. Vlahakis says an autopsy was conducted but final results are not available.
The Sheriff says due to the suspicious nature of the death the investigation is continuing by his office and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation.
