A group of rural residents are asking the Yankton County Commission to change their form of representation. Commissioners are now elected at large. Kevin Huber from Mayfield Township says there are no commissioners from the rural areas….

Huber says many of the problems the county is facing come from that lack of representation……

Huber says if the commission doesn’t want to change, they may look to redraw the county lines…..

The commission agreed to discuss the issue at a future meeting.
