Yankton County Residents Organize to Oppose Hog Barns

Opponents of seven proposed hog barns in Yankton County are organizing ahead of the next step in the permitting process.
The county Planning Commission approved conditional use permits this week after a long and often loud meeting.
Brandon Gramkow, of rural Mission Hill lives near one of the proposed sites…..

The group met at a Mission Hill church Wednesday night.
Gramkow says they want county officials to follow zoning rules…..

Gramkow says they are preparing for the next steps….

The county commission will meet as a Board of Adjustment on July 5th to consider the conditional use permits.
