Yankton County Land Owners Could Get A Surprise Letter

A number of landowners in Yankton County will soon get a letter from the Planning and Zoning Department, asking about changes made to structures on their property.

Administrator Pat Garrity told the County Commission at their meeting yesterday (Tuesday) that they have been doing aerial surveys of the county, and comparing them to past reviews…

 

Garrity told commissioners that his office will be sending letters to those owners…

 

Garrity says he may also do another information campaign about the need for building permits…

 

Garrity says he wanted to inform the commission about the process before they start getting calls from landowners.
