The damage assessment continues across Yankton County following last month’s rain and flooding.

Director of Emergency Management Paul Scherschligt says they have about half of the reports finalized….

Scherschligt told the county commission that estimate does not include road, bridge and culvert damages…..

Scherschligt says the close out of the disaster declaration has been extended…..

Scherschligt says anyone that has flood damage to their home or property should call the 211 helpline to be included on the list.
