The Yankton County Commission is moving toward increasing taxes and fees for road maintenance, but wants more public input on options.
The commission is considering a variety of options that would raise property taxes and the wheel tax.

Commission Chairman Todd Woods says they have limited choices……

Woods says they want to hear from the public on what would be a better solution to fixing the roads…..

Woods says the commission has to approve some funding option by mid July…..

Woods says the road issue will be on the agenda of every meeting until they make a decision.
