Yankton County Commission Votes to Suspend Email Account

The Yankton County Commission voted to suspend the email account of Commissioner Gary Swensen.
Commission Chair Cheri Loest says the action came at their Tuesday night meeting…

Loest says Swensen was violating the county hand book rules on use of county equipment and accounts….

Loest says Swensen has sent a number of questionable emails to her, other commissioners, the Governors office and reporters…..

Swensen said during the meeting that Commissioner Joe Healy had threatened to break his leg. He said in an email that he had filed a report with the Sheriffs office.

Loest says the suspension is until further notice.
